The Chubby Fluted Planter is the friendliest shape in our collection: a ribbed cylinder that flares out into a wider fluted skirt at the base, then lifts off the table on four small rounded feet in a contrasting tone. It is 3D printed in matte PLA, and the deep vertical fluting runs from the rim all the way down through the step, so it catches light the way a pleated lampshade does.

At 4.6 inches wide and about 4.3 inches tall on its feet, it is sized for a desk, a bookshelf, a nightstand or a windowsill. It is a planter cover — keep your plant in its 3.5-inch nursery pot, set it inside, lift it out to water. It is the second piece in our small-planter family with the Twisted Planter with Stand, and pairs with it in the same six colors.

FAQs

Does it have a drainage hole? No. It is designed as a planter cover: keep your plant in its 3.5-inch nursery pot, set it inside, and lift it out to water.

What size plant fits? Anything sold in a 3.5-inch nursery pot, and 3-inch pots with room to spare: pothos, small snake plants, succulents, peperomia, herbs and cuttings. A 4-inch pot will not fit.

Do the feet come attached? Yes. The four feet are permanently bonded before shipping, so it arrives ready to use.

Can I get the feet in the same color as the pot? The standard set pairs contrasting feet with each pot. Message us if you want them matching — it is made to order, so we can usually do it.

How big is it really? Small on purpose: 4.6 inches across at its widest, about the size of a large coffee mug. It is meant for a desk, shelf or windowsill.

Can it go outdoors? No. PLA softens in prolonged direct sun and heat, so keep it indoors and away from radiators and hot south-facing windowsills.
