Real Drainage. No Puddle. No Saucer in Sight.

Most beautiful planters make you choose: drainage holes and a saucer that ruins the look, or a sealed pot that slowly drowns the roots. The Coin Stack Planter does neither. It is 3D printed in matte PLA as a two-piece system: a fluted pot built from five stacked ribbed rings with seventeen drainage holes in its floor, and a matching drip tray that locks underneath and disappears into the silhouette. Water drains, the tray catches it, and from the outside all you see is a sculptural stack of coins.

The pot takes a standard 4-inch nursery pot, which covers most of what a plant shop sells for a desk, windowsill or shelf: succulents, pothos, snake plants, peperomia, small ferns and herbs. Lift the pot off the tray, empty it, set it back. It pairs with the Ribbed Planter with Legs for a matched set in the same colors.

  • Seventeen drainage holes in the floor: healthy roots, no guesswork about overwatering
  • Hidden drip tray locks under the pot: catches runoff, never shows, lifts off to empty
  • Fits a standard 4-inch nursery pot, or plant directly — the drainage is built in
  • Five stacked ribbed rings: catches light like a fluted vase, reads as one sculptural piece
  • Six matte finishes, pot and tray in the same color

FAQs

Does it really drain? Yes. The pot floor has seventeen holes and the tray underneath collects the runoff. It is designed to be watered in place.

What size plant fits? Anything sold in a 4-inch nursery pot. You can drop the nursery pot straight in or plant directly into the pot.

Is the tray visible? No. It matches the pot's color and profile and sits flush underneath, so the planter reads as one piece.

How is it different from the Ribbed Planter with Legs? The Ribbed Planter is a 3-inch planter cover with no drainage, raised on legs. The Coin Stack is a 4-inch planter with real drainage and a hidden tray — the one for people who water generously.

Can it go outdoors? No. PLA softens in prolonged direct sun and heat, so keep it indoors and away from radiators and hot south-facing windowsills.

Does it match the lamps and trays? Yes — the fluted ribs and the six matte colors are the same as the Ribbed lamps, the Ripple Tray and the Ribbed Planter, so you can build a matched shelf.
