Wide, Low and Built to Drain
Some plants want width, not height: succulents that spread, a pothos that trails, a snake plant with room to send up pups. The Ribbed Wide Planter is 3D printed in matte PLA as a two-piece system built for exactly that: a low, six-inch pot wrapped in fine vertical ribs, with nineteen drainage holes in its floor, that drops into a matching drip tray with a soft stone-like textured surface. The tray becomes the base band of the silhouette, so the drainage is designed in, not added on.
At 6 inches across it is the widest planter in our collection and takes a standard 5-inch nursery pot straight in (a 4-inch pot with room to spare). Water in place, let it drain, lift and empty. It pairs with the Fluted Cylinder Planter and the Coin Stack Planter for a matched set in the same six colors.
- Nineteen drainage holes in the floor: no guesswork about overwatering
- Built-in drip tray in a contrasting textured finish: catches runoff and completes the shape
- Fits a standard 5-inch nursery pot, or plant directly — the drainage is built in
- Fine vertical ribs all the way around, the signature of our lamp and planter collection
- Six pot colors, each with a contrasting tray

FAQs
Does it really drain? Yes. The pot floor has nineteen holes and the tray underneath collects the runoff. It is designed to be watered in place.
What size plant fits? Anything sold in a 5-inch nursery pot, and 4-inch pots with room to spare. Wide, shallow growers do best: succulents, echeveria, haworthia, pothos, small snake plants, peperomia, herbs.
Is the tray attached? No. The pot drops into the tray and sits centered; lift it out to empty. Nothing to assemble.
Why is the tray textured and the pot ribbed? The pot is 3D printed with fine vertical ribs and the tray with a fine rough surface, so the two pieces read as one designed object in two finishes, not a pot on a saucer.
Can it go outdoors? No. PLA softens in prolonged direct sun and heat, so keep it indoors and away from radiators and hot south-facing windowsills.
Does it match the other planters and lamps? Yes — the ribs and the six matte colors are the same as the Fluted Cylinder Planter, the Coin Stack, the Ribbed lamps and the Ripple Tray.
