The Twisted Planter takes a simple cylinder and wraps it in ribs that spiral upward, so light moves across the surface as you walk past. It is 3D printed in matte PLA as a two-piece set: the spiral pot and a slim cross stand in a contrasting tone that lifts it just over an inch off the surface, the mid-century trick that makes a small planter read like a piece of furniture.

At 4 inches across and about 5.2 inches tall on its stand, it is built for the places big planters do not fit: a desk beside the monitor, a bookshelf, a windowsill, a nightstand. FAQs

Does it have a drainage hole? No. It is designed as a planter cover: keep your plant in its 3.5-inch nursery pot, set it inside, and lift it out to water.

What size plant fits? Anything sold in a 3.5-inch nursery pot, and 3-inch pots with room to spare: pothos, small snake plants, succulents, peperomia, herbs and cuttings. A 4-inch pot will not fit.

Does the stand come assembled? The two stand pieces slot together in a cross in seconds and the pot rests on top. No tools, no glue.

How big is it really? Small on purpose: 4 inches wide, about the size of a coffee mug on a stand. It is meant for a desk, shelf or windowsill, not the floor.

Can it go outdoors? No. PLA softens in prolonged direct sun and heat, so keep it indoors and away from radiators and hot south-facing windowsills.
